Speech and Language Therapist – early discussions

1 August, 2017

Speech and Language Therapists from across England came together on 17th July to discuss apprenticeships and how the profession might use them in the future. The meeting was convened by The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and 2gether NHS Foundation Trust.

It was an opportunity for employers to hear more about the apprenticeship reforms in England and how the new standards at different levels relate to the speech and language workforce.

The meeting also marked the start of discussions prior to submitting an expression of interest to develop an apprenticeship standard for Speech and Language Therapist at level 6. The intention now is to go forward with the expression of interest in the coming weeks. If you want to be kept up to date with the development, send us your details
