The Dental Trailblazer is delighted to announce that the Standard for Clinical Dental Technician has been approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships.
The approved Standard can be found here. A funding band has not yet been allocated.
The Trailblazer will continue drafting the end point assessment plan ready for submission to the Institute for Apprenticeships in the new year. Once the assessment plan has been approved and the funding band has been allocated the apprenticeship will be ‘approved for delivery’.
Training providers and apprentice assessment organisations will then be able to begin the process of applying to register with the Education and Skills Funding Agency ready for implementation.
