We have received a number of enquiries regarding which End Point Assessment Plan would apply to various cohorts of apprentices.
Registered Nurse (NMC 2010) ST0293: There is only one End Point Assessment Plan that applies to this standard and this is ST0293/AP01. All apprentices completing this standard will undertake this EPA.
Nursing Associate ST0508: There is only one assessment plan that applies to this standard and this is AP0508/01. All apprentices completing this standard will undertake this EPA.
Registered Nurse (NMC 2018) ST0781: This standard was approved for delivery in February 2019 and has had two EPA plans published that apply to the standard ST0781/AP01 published in February 2019 and ST0781/AP02 published in July 2019. ST0781/AP02 is the only EPA that can be offered, and this can be undertaken by any apprentice completing against this standard irrespective of their start date on this standard.
Nursing Associate (NMC 2018) ST0827: This standard was originally approved for delivery in March 2019 and has had two EPA plans published that apply to the standard ST0827/AP01 published in March 2019 and ST0827/AP02 published in April 2019. ST0827/AP02 was republished in July 2019 stipulating that the End Point Assessment Organisation must be an NMC approved organisation. There were no other changes. ST0827/AP02 is the only EPA that can be offered by an EPAO at this time.
