Since April 2018, employers can transfer a maximum of 25% of their annual funds to other employers, such as GP practices, care homes, hospices or charities.
In order to receive a transfer, non-levy paying employers must first set up a digital apprenticeship account with the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
