Meet John Curtis a Registered Nurse Degree Apprentice at UCLH

13 August, 2020

We spoke with John about his experience of being a Registered Nurse apprentice at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The reason I wanted to join the Registered Nursing Degree Apprenticeship programme was because I wanted to further my career in the NHS and felt like this would be the perfect opportunity to do so.

The NHS has done a lot for my loved ones and I want to become a nurse to help give back to a service that has done so much for myself and my family members.

I didn’t get the best grades in school so I couldn’t get into University when I left college and I feel like apprenticeships are the best way for someone like myself to get higher education and further their future career options.

I encourage other Healthcare workers to try and enrol onto this course as it’s such a good opportunity and not to be missed!

I would 100% recommend this course to my friends at work.
