Featured in today’s ‘Meet the Mentor’ series in collaboration with Skills for Health, is apprenticeship mentor Nick Wright.
A mentor plays a unique role in an apprentice’s journey and we want you to meet these important role models, and champion all the valuable work they do and the key role apprenticeships play in the NHS.
Nick is a Senior Radiotherapy Engineer at University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM), and as part of his job he is mentoring apprentices who are completing the Degree Apprenticeship in Radiotherapy Engineering.
“One of my biggest successes as a mentor is developing local young engineers and enabling them to succeed to professional registration with a degree that can be used for a lifetime.”
