Widening Participation: Shaking up Recruitment in Leeds – Case Study

Read our latest case study about Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust who took an innovative widening participation recruitment approach when recruiting staff for their new Red Kite View Children’s Inpatient Service. As a result the Trust have been able to tap into a previously untapped and passionate workforce, creating real job opportunities in the community.

The Trust are also investing in the staff’s future development and all the successful applicants will be given the opportunity to study towards a Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship and gain their functional skills in English and Maths.
