Public Health Practitioner Case Study – Mary Ross

12 May, 2022

Public health practitioners (PHPs) work as part of a national workforce that strives to help people and communities to maximise their potential for a healthy, happy and productive life, to live healthier for longer.

People working in public health may be employed in a range of different organisations. It is not uncommon for people to move across sectors as their careers develop and, increasingly, people may choose to be self-employed for some or part of their time.

Mary Ross is undertaking a Level 6 Public Health Practitioner (integrated degree) apprenticeship at Devon and Cornwall Police. We spoke to Mary about her apprenticeship journey, click here to read about her experiences.
