Further to the Peer Worker Apprenticeship standard being approved for delivery in 2022 and the completion of a National procurement exercise conducted by Salisbury Managed procurement services, NHS England – (Workforce, Training & Education) are working with integrated care systems, employers and education providers nationally to assess the demand for the Peer Worker Apprenticeship within each region.
The approved training providers who have been procured to deliver the Peer worker apprenticeship are:
- Dynamic Training – National delivery
- Exeter College – South West delivery
- Paragon Education and Skills – National delivery
- West Nottinghamshire College – Midlands delivery
This demand scoping is open to all health and social care employers (Including NHS trusts/ primary care/ social care/ local authority/ voluntary/justice system/ social enterprises/ community interest companies/ independent providers) through which we are asking employers to indicate their future workforce demand for Peer Worker Apprentices.
Please note that any information provided relating to demand is treated as provisional estimations and are only used as an indication of potential demand for the apprenticeship. This is used to help providers to build viable cohorts within the regions.
Please ensure that only one survey per organisation is completed and submitted. Please link with other colleagues in your organisation to ensure response represents the views of relevant leads when completing this survey.
