As a result of the changes to the way the IfA will be making funding arrangements, lots of Trailblazer groups are receiving funding letters this week.
The IfA is making these initial offers based on a limited number of criteria which is leading to some of the offers being much lower than expected. Although there is no place to appeal the initial funding offer, the Trailblazer group will be able to gather evidence which can then be submitted to the IfA to fully inform the final funding band.
For the Trailblazers which are supported by Health Education England & Skills for Health, gathering this evidence will be part of the expected development process. Final funding offers will not be agreed until the end of the development process.
