Following the success of ‘Apprentices on the Frontline’ in 2020, when the Special Recognition Award went to Amber James, Apprentice Healthcare Support Worker from Great Ormond Street Hospital. The Department for Education (DfE) are pleased to announce the launch of ‘Apprentices in Action’ presented by EY (Ernst & Young Global Limited).
We are delighted to premiere their brand new Great Ormond Street Hospital story, as part of Apprentices in Action, presented by EY. The video shows how apprentices play a key role in medical and non-medical roles at this leading London hospital. Well done and special thanks to Laurence O’Sullivan-Whiting – Workforce Development Lead for Apprenticeships, the apprentices and all the staff at GOSH involved in the making of the video.
This year the awards will be focussing on the employers and apprentices who are helping to Build Back Better and contributing to the ongoing recovery as we move towards a post Covid-19 economy. If you are interested in being part of Apprentices in Action please complete the simple questionnaire and the production team will be in touch. Closing date for entries is 31st October 2021
