A group of stakeholders exploring the potential for a Trailblazer apprenticeship standard for an Environmental Health Practitioner met this week at Public Health England’s Bristol offices.
The group is chaired by Sue Green of Bath and North East Somerset Council and Steve Nelson of NSF and is supported by Skills for Health. Currently, the group is busy making plans for the Stakeholder event being held in London on Tuesday 26th September, hosted by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. A potential outcome of that event will be securing a group of 10 employers to develop and submit a proposal (expression of interest) to the Institute for Apprenticeships.
