The Nursing Associate Trailblazer is delighted to announce that the apprenticeship for Nursing Associate has been approved for delivery by the Institute for Apprenticeships.

Employers, training providers and apprentice assessment organisations can now prepare for delivery of the apprenticeship.

‘It’s been a real pleasure to work with such a committed group of employers and other stakeholders to develop the apprenticeship standard and end point assessment for the Nursing Associate. Now we have to get on with the exciting task of implementing the apprenticeship.’
Sam Donohue, Senior Nurse Manager, Policy, Health Education England said:
‘Health Education England is delighted that the Nursing Associate Apprenticeship Standard has been approved. The trailblazer group were dedicated to supporting the development of this apprenticeship standard and have worked together in the submission of the standard.
HEE are currently finalising the detail of how the next wave of trainees will be supported, utilising the Nursing Associate apprenticeship standard and will publish this soon on our website.’
