A group of enthusiastic Arts Therapists got together at the British Library yesterday to discuss apprenticeships. The meeting was facilitated by Val Huet of the British Association of Art Therapists and Health Education England.
It was an opportunity for employers to hear more about the apprenticeship reforms and how existing standards at different levels relate to their workforce.
It also marks the start of discussions about whether to submit an expression of interest for an arts therapist standard at level 7. If you want to become involved in thinking through the opportunities and obstacles please click here to send us your details.
