The Family and Systemic Psychotherapist Trailblazer Group are pleased to announce that they have opened a consultation on the draft apprenticeship standard for the Level 7 Family and Systemic Psychotherapist.
There is a shortage of Family and Systemic Psychotherapists in England to meet the population needs to access psychological therapy. Employing organisations will be able to access the apprenticeship levy to support their staff to undertake this training. This provides an empowering opportunity to support staff with their career development whilst retaining their commitment to the local economy. It also provides an opportunity to increase the diversity of the workforce to better reflect the local population, as the training will be provided as part of the employing contract.
To give maximum opportunity for everyone to contribute, the consultation is available as an online survey. This consultation opened on Wednesday 15th November and will close at 12pm on 20th December 2023.
Your feedback will be reviewed following the closing date and the Trailblazer will consider where amendments should be made to the draft standards. The Standards will then be submitted to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) to seek approval.
