The Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards aims to showcase the range of talent and hard work within multicultural communities that is made possible with the contribution and support of employers and learning providers.
The event seeks to recognise talent and diversity in apprenticeships, honouring those working hard to overcome adversity to achieve their goals through apprenticeships. The 30 awards, across 16 different categories, highlight the achievements of apprentices and the contribution of employers and learning providers who have assisted them along their journey.
Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust were proud to be announced winners of the Employer of the year for the Health, Medical & Social Care category at an event on 5th October 2023.
The trust are also proud of their apprentice Salma Vali who was also shortlisted for the Health, Medical and Social Care apprentice award (sponsored by Royal Navy), Salma is undertaking an apprenticeship in Occupation Therapy.
