National Numeracy are holding a 2-hour online workshop to help people reflect on their relationship with maths, encourage open discussion about their feelings, remove barriers to improving numeracy, and motivate them to take the next steps in their journey to unlocking more positive feelings about maths.
Many people feel anxious about maths and hold such negative thoughts, beliefs, and feelings around the subject that this often holds them back from engaging with learning.
At National Numeracy they understand that having good numeracy skills is key to getting on in both work and life. It can help people to:
- get a new job or progress in their careers.
- support their children to feel more confident with numbers.
- feel more confident in managing their money.
This 2-hour interactive workshop does not teach maths, it instead focuses on attitudes and looks at tips and resources to kick-start your confidence with numbers for the workplace. It takes place on Friday 25th April at 9:30am – 11:30am.
