NHS England: Real-life stories

14 January, 2025

NHS England is always looking for inspiring real-life stories to help others to make informed career choices, whether they are a school student taking their first steps, a current professional considering their next career move or an employer wanting to talk about their experience with apprentices.

NHS England would like to hear from any NHS England apprentices, but are mainly focusing on some specific priority roles including:

  • RNDA, nursing support workers and nursing associates
  • AHP degree apprentices and AHP support workers
  • Pharmacy assistants and technicians
  • Psychological therapies eg. psychological wellbeing practitioners
  • Healthcare science including assistants and associates
  • Estates and facilities (including support workers)
  • Digital, data and technology
  • Business and administration

If you or someone you know would like to write about their inspiring real-life stories to help others thinking about doing an apprenticeship, take a look at the NHS England real-life form here.

Employers and apprentices can also email england.nhsapprenticeships@nhs.net who will then be able to help you with any questions or form enquires you may have.

Check out our Case Studies page to find other stories that apprentices and employers have told about their experiences.
