A new Trailblazer Group is forming for a Public Sector Level 2 standard recognising that although the Level 2 Customer Service might work for some roles, there is still a need for a suitable Level 2 standard for administrative roles. Therefore, the NHS and Local Government Association have agreed to join forces to develop a new trailblazer to provide an entry route in to the public sector. The proposal will be for a Level 2 Organisational Support Assistant.
The first meeting will be online in September. Although the trailblazer will need to be led by the public sector the aim is to keep the standard open to the private and third sector, so representatives from these areas also welcomed.
