A research report has been published on the pilot of apprenticeship English and mathematics flexibilities for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities (LDD).
This report was conducted by Cooper Gibson Research on behalf of the Department for Education. The findings are from interviews with 17 apprenticeship providers on the pilot and 19 LDD learners who had used the flexibilities.
This evaluation of the Pilot explored the types of evidence that could be used to evaluate eligibility for the English and mathematics flexibilities, how they were implemented, what worked well or less well, the experiences of providers and learners, and perceptions around scaling up.
