We are highlighting employers and apprentices’ experiences of apprenticeships in Primary Care. This week’s Featured Apprentice is Fiona Newby. Fiona is a Level 5 Nursing Associate (NMC 2018) Apprentice at Risedale Surgery. We spoke to Fiona about her experiences of undertaking an apprenticeship.
“I would definitely recommend an apprenticeship, they are great for learning as you learn the theory on the days at university and then you can apply them in a clinic setting which is a more practical way of learning.”
