We last updated you in January on the work undertaken by a collaborative of Awarding Organisations to review the L3 Diploma in Healthcare Support.
We are pleased to announce that all of the review work has now completed, and Awarding Organisations will be launching the updated qualification on 1st April 2023.
In the coming weeks, the Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship standard will be updated by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education to remove the out-going qualification numbers and replace with the new qualification numbers. From 1st April 2023, all new apprentices must be registered for the updated L3 Diploma in Healthcare Support.
