Survey – Recruitment, Education and Retention of Healthcare Support Workers

4 August, 2022

As part of the HCSW (Healthcare Support Worker) Programme, Health Education England have commissioned Skills for Health to undertake research in partnership with Kings College London, to understand:

  • The benefits of hiring new to care HCSWs, and the environment in which they need to thrive
  • The impact of the HCSW Educator role

As part of this research, a survey has been developed to explore the experiences of HR professionals, HCSW educators and providers of pastoral support, registered professionals involved in retention, apprenticeship leads, care certificate leads, HCSW leads and anyone involved in the recruitment and retention of HCSWs within organisations.

This survey forms part of this research. Findings from the survey and the broader study will contribute to future deliverables for the HCSW programme and developments related to HCSWs.

This survey is currently open and will close on 31st August 2022. It will take an estimated 20 minutes to complete.
