The HEE National Talent For Care team are delighted to announce they have funded a licence for UK NARIC to support the NHS and Apprenticeship Leads.
UK NARIC is the designated national agency for the recognition and comparison of international qualifications and skills. This process and the cost attached have long been cited as a barrier for widening participation in apprenticeships and also traditional nursing and AHP degree programmes. The licence includes (virtual) training provision to help colleagues get up to speed with using the UK NARIC databases and confidently accessing overseas awards. It will allow you to compare overseas qualifications to the UK education framework as well as provide grading information and a focus on the common English and Maths equivalents.
