Rob Brooks is the National Programme Manager – Care Certificate, Pre-Apprenticeships and Support Worker Progression. Working for Health Education England, Rob has been the Apprenticeship Relationship Manager for the East of England since March 2020 after spending 3 years managing apprenticeship programmes at Moorfields Eye Hospital, before recently taking up his current role. Prior to joining the NHS in 2016, Rob spent over a decade working in FE Colleges and Training Providers in the apprenticeships and work-based learning space. In the past 5 years he has been an active part of a number of apprenticeship Trailblazer groups, including the Senior People Professional group.

A former chair of governors at a large East London secondary school, Rob now spends his spare time completing a part time MSc in Public Policy and Management and is Chair of his local cricket club as well as being father to 2 young girls who ensure his life is surrounded by ballet shoes.
