The ESFA has launched its new Levy Transfer process.
Employers can now pledge unspent levy, which is then listed on a GOV.uk page. Those that require levy can then view the list and apply to have access to suitable levy funds.
Levy paying employers create a pledge of up to 25% of their annual levy funds which will then be available to support apprenticeships in other businesses including other NHS & Social Care organisations.
Employers have already pledged over £1 million through this service since its launch in September 21, with many more expected to pledge in the coming weeks so do take a look.
All NHS & Social Care organisations can now browse these funding opportunities on the new webpage. Employers can apply for levy funding to pay for 100% of their apprenticeship training and assessment costs (up to the funding band maximum).
Check out HASO Levy Transfer page and the ESFA guidance to find out more:
- transferring your apprenticeship levy to another business
- receive a levy transfer from another business to fund an apprenticeship
- Create a transfer pledge and view, accept and reject applications
As yet, there is no guarantee that external levy will be available for all your requirements but your regional HEE Apprenticeship Relationship Managers is happy to help support you with your levy transfer needs and also help navigate around the new pledging process. In addition support is also available on setting up STP / ICS / Training Hubs levy transfer processes.
