This week we are introducing you to Harry Stallwood, a ward administrator at West London NHS Trust. Harry has recently completed the Higher Development Award (HDA) and we spoke to him about his experiences.
The Higher Development Award (HDA) is a personal development programme for Support Workers that enables Clinical and Non-Clinical Support Workers from all sectors to “Be the best and acknowledge potential”. Some organisations are using the HDA as a way to help prepare people for apprenticeships.
“I have increased self-confidence including when dealing with other staff and senior staff. I have learned different skills and learning styles for staff.”
Find out more about Harry’s experiences.
