Functional Skills International Qualifications
For apprentices, staff progressing into Higher Education and internationally qualified staff, there are Skills for Life English and maths qualification requirements for entry, progression and registration.
Health Education England helps employers support their workforce through formal qualifications by offering:
- Free access for health and care employers to bksb English and maths learning
- Free access to Open Awards assessments
- Free access to ENIC service. (UK ENIC – the UK National Information Centre for the recognition and evaluation of international qualifications and skills.)
- and sharing practice in ESOL teaching and learning to support progression through a range of English and maths qualifications.
