NOTE: NHS England currently fund for Health or Social Care Employers to access Functional Skills qualifications exams through Open Awards at no cost.
As NHS England’s contract with Open Awards ends on the 31st March 2024, they will be conducting a procurement exercise (which will be made public in due course) which will allow employers to continue to access funded functional skills exams from 1st April 2024.
In order to allow enough time for learners to take assessments by 31st March 2024 please find below details of last registration with Open Awards.

Health or Social Care Employers whose employees are ready to sit an assessment can access Functional Skills qualifications exams through Open Awards at no cost.
