Apprentice Case Studies – NHS Property Services

23 November, 2022

NHS England and Improvement (NHS E/I) and Health Education England (HEE) have collaborated to support the greater use of apprenticeships in Estates and Facilities. The challenge is to create 1000 apprenticeship starts in Estates and Facilities in 2022/23.

NHS Property Services (NHSPS) have been delighted to be part of this challenge. We recently spoke to individuals undertaking apprenticeships at NHSPS to hear about their experiences.

Harry Ives is undertaking a Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship. Click here to learn more about his experiences.

“Don’t feel like you’re stuck in job you don’t like, it is never too late to learn new skills and from those new skills other doors and opportunities can open.”

Callum Anchors is undertaking a Level 3 Gas Engineering Operative apprenticeship. Click here to learn more about his experiences.

“If you’re considering an apprenticeship, then consider no longer. The best advice I can give is to go for it. The feeling of achievement at the end is worth the hard work ten times over and not to mention the doors it will open for you.”

Marina is undertaking a Level 4 Facilities Manager apprenticeship. Click here to learn more about her experiences.

“A great opportunity to put everything I have learned into practice.”
