Apprenticeship Standard for Occupational Therapist – Standard update

1 October, 2018

The Occupational Therapist Trailblazer group are pleased to announce the Institute for Apprenticeships have agreed to the inclusion of a mandatory Level 7 qualification as an alternative to the Level 6 mandatory qualification, which is already part of the standard.

This is in line with the approach the Institute has agreed for Nursing and Allied Health Professionals that Level 7 qualifications will be accepted as mandatory qualifications, where the apprentice already holds a degree and the level 7 is approved by the regulatory body.
