The Senior Healthcare Support Worker and the Ambulance Trailblazers are pleased to announce that the Standard for Senior Healthcare Support Worker has been resubmitted to the Institute for Apprenticeships on 25th July 2017 with a draft seventh option for Ambulance Support Workers (Emergency, Urgent and Non-Urgent Care).
The submission follows a request from the Institute for Apprenticeships that the Trailblazers work together to develop a new option thereby avoiding significant overlap between two separate standards.
Consultation with the Ambulance Trusts and other stakeholders was carried out face to face. Both Trailblazers wish to thank all those who provided feedback.
The Institute for Apprenticeships will hold a further short consultation period. When available, the survey can be found here.
