The Trailblazer is seeking your help to ensure that the apprenticeship standard attracts the best possible funding band.
Revisions made to the apprenticeship to align the end-point assessment with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) requirements means that the funding band for this apprenticeship is now being reviewed by the funding body. The decision on how much funding the apprenticeship will be allocated in future will be based on evidence of costs provided by HEIs (Higher Education Institution). It is vital that the funding body bases its decision on up-to-date and comprehensive information.
The Trailblazer is therefore urgently seeking information on costs from HEIs that are delivering, or preparing to deliver, the Operating Department Practitioner apprenticeship.
