NHS England and Improvement (NHS E/I) and Health Education England (HEE) have started to explore how they can jointly support the greater use of apprenticeships in Estates and Facilities.
In 2022 they hope to launch a “NHS Estates and Facilities Apprenticeship Challenge” that will shine a light on Estates and Facilities apprenticeships to actively promote and inspire interest and applications from existing NHS staff, job seekers, school leavers and career changers.
The challenge will also support with new resources, such as an Estates and Facilities Apprenticeship Toolkit, FAQs and a vacancy repository link. These will also be available on the NHS Estates and Facilities Workforce collaboration Hub – Workforce Hub – NHS Estates Team
