Due to the withdrawal of provision of the Level 2 Emergency Care Assistance qualification in the Emergency Care Assistance apprenticeship frameworks in England and Wales, and no other Awarding Organisation offering the combined qualification, the apprenticeship framework for both nations will be withdrawn and archived on the ACE and ACW libraries from 31st December 2019. FISSS has confirmed that they will archive the current frameworks from this date. Pearson will continue to certificate the combined qualification until 31st December 2021 but will accept no new starts from 1st January 2020
Apprenticeship standards that you may wish to consider as an alternative are Healthcare Support Worker at level 2 or Ambulance Support Worker at level 3.
