Health Education England have completed national procurement for Maternity Support Worker apprenticeships.
The following apprenticeship standards have been mapped and aligned to the Maternity Support Worker Competency, Education and Career Development Framework:
- Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker – Contextualised to Maternity
- Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker – Maternity Support Route
- Level 5 Assistant Practitioner (Health) – Contextualised to Maternity
An employer guide has been created which highlights apprenticeships accessible nationally which currently align to the Maternity Support Worker Competency, Education and Career Development Framework. This guide contains all the training providers, their delivery method, start dates and the standards they have been awarded to deliver.
