Ofqual are currently evaluating its approach to regulating reformed Functional Skills qualifications in English and maths.
As part of this evaluation they are seeking participants for upcoming Employer Focus Groups.
They are currently undertaking an evaluation of the arrangements put in place and monitoring the qualifications in delivery. Ofqual’s work includes a desk review, data and market analysis, as well as surveys and focus groups to gather first-hand views from awarding organisations, providers, students and employers.
Ofqual values the insights and views of employers on the impact of these reformed qualifications on organisations and employees.
Employer’s participation will help Ofqual make informed decisions on potential next steps.

The focus group sessions will be held online, run by JL Partners and will be 60 minutes long. These sessions are being planned for early June.
