The Higher Development Award is a personal development programme for Support Workers that enables Clinical and Non-Clinical Support Workers from all sectors to “Be the best and acknowledge potential”.
Health Education England continues to engage with employers and colleges across the country, providing support to structure the Higher Development Award (HDA) for your area. NHS Futures is open to anyone working in or for health and social care. By joining the NHS Futures platform Higher Development Award – FutureNHS Collaboration Platform you will have access to the full range of guidance about the HDA. This includes an expansive range of resources so you can find out more about the programme, its place within your Support Worker pathway and to find out how other areas have developed the staff for their areas.

This meeting is for organisations who have been part of pilot planning and those regions just starting out. Even if you have not yet started planning, but would like to hear more about the programme and national activity, you are welcome.
