The care leaver’s bursary increased to £3,000 from 1st August 2023. There has never been a better time to support care experienced young people into NHS careers and apprenticeships.
Moving On Up is a collaboration of like-minded organisations that are working to support an increase in care experienced young people accessing apprenticeships.
Moving on up are working with the apprenticeship sector to encourage everyone to recognise the unique circumstances of care experienced young people, and to build support into the programme design.
