Nutritionist apprenticeship standard consultation – now open

23 February, 2024

The Nutritionist Trailblazer Group are pleased to announce that they have opened a consultation on the draft apprenticeship standard for the Level 6 Nutritionist.

Nutritionists provide scientific, evidence-based nutritional information, advice and recommendations to groups and individuals about the impacts of food and nutrition on health and wellbeing. They help and support those individuals and organisations to make healthy and sustainable nutritional choices.

The apprenticeship standard maps to the Association of Nutritionists Competency Requirements for Registered Associate Nutritionists (ANutr). Apprentices will be eligible for registration on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

To give maximum opportunity for everyone to contribute, the consultation is available as an online survey. This consultation opened on Friday, 23rd February and will close at 12pm Friday, 22nd March 2024.

Your feedback will be reviewed following the closing date and the Trailblazer will consider where amendments should be made to the draft standards. The Standards will then be submitted to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) to seek approval.
