A group of employers is forming with the aim of developing an apprenticeship for Optometrist. The group is keen to recruit additional employer representatives from NHS Trusts across England in preparation for submitting a proposal to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.
Once approved by the Institute, the Trailblazer group will then go on to develop the apprenticeship standard and assessment plan for Optometrist.
