Physician Associate FAQ Updated

The Level 7 Physician Associate apprenticeship standard was approved for delivery on 30th September 2019.

Physician associates are healthcare professionals who work alongside registered doctors and provide medical care as an integral part of a wider healthcare team. They can take medical histories, perform physical examinations, request and interpret investigations, diagnose and manage patients, and perform an extensive range of specialised procedural skills within their scope of practice.

The FAQ page is full of guidance useful to any employer interested in this apprenticeship. It also includes details of training providers who may not registered with RoATP (Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers) yet but are intending to offer this apprenticeship.
