A proposal is currently being developed for apprenticeship standards in Public Service Commissioning at Level 4 and Level 6. The Trailblazer Group, Chaired by Martin Samuels, is currently developing these proposals to submit to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE).
Further employer input and endorsement is required at this key stage, with a particular focus on senior practitioners such as Heads of Commissioning and Commissioning Managers.
Input from NHS colleagues with involvement in the commissioning of services would be very welcome.
