The following apprenticeship standards have now been approved for delivery by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE).
- Community Nurse Specialist Practitioner (NMC 2022) – ST1419
- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (NMC 2022). – ST1418
The funding band for both of the above standards is £14,000
These apprenticeship standards align to the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) Standards of proficiency for specialist community public health nurses (SCPHN) and the Standards of proficiency for community nursing specialist practice qualifications (SPQ) which were published in July 2022.
The current versions of the standards for Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (ST0697) and District Nurse (ST0709) will be withdrawn for new starts on 31st August 2024.
