In July 2022 the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) published new standards of proficiency for the occupations they statutorily regulate. As the apprenticeship standard for this occupation is based on the HCPC standards this must also be reviewed.
The Speech and Language Therapist Trailblazer Group are therefore pleased to announce that they have opened a consultation on the draft apprenticeship standard for the Speech and Language Therapist (Degree) (HCPC 2022).
To give maximum opportunity for everyone to contribute, this consultation is available as an online survey here. This consultation opened on Tuesday, 28th February and will close at 12pm on Monday, 13th March 2023.
Your feedback will be reviewed following the closing date and the Trailblazer will consider where amendments should be made to the draft standard. The Standard will then be submitted to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) to seek approval.
