AHP (Allied Health Professions) Enhanced Practice Schema and model curricula
NHS England are delighted to announce their upcoming webinars, specifically for Academic Education Institutions (AEIs), where they will share AHP Enhanced Practice schemas and model curricula, prior to formal publication and launch (March 2024).
There are profession specific schema and model curricula for 10 of the allied health professions:
Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practitioner, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Diagnostic Radiography, Therapeutic Radiography, Paramedics, Osteopathy.
This is to support the uptake of the Enhanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship and is of particular relevance to Academic Education Institutions who may be considering delivering profession specific AHP apprenticeships.

These webinars will introduce the ECP Apprenticeship and the work that has been undertaken to develop the AHP schemas, including the fundamentals for delivery, and next steps for AEIs to implement and deliver courses.
Registration for the webinars are below. The same content will be delivered in both sessions. You only need to register once. A recording of the webinar will be made available to all registrants.
