We are always very happy to hear about hard working colleagues being recognised for their contribution to the sector. So we were thrilled when we recently learned that Becky Elsworthy, Apprenticeship Manager at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust won the Apprenticeship Champion Award in the 2021 Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards.
Becky leads pioneering work at Oxford Health, not only in the strategic, organisation-wide implementation of apprenticeships but also in terms of Skills for Life support and widening access and participation. Becky is constantly finding new ways to support colleagues and dismantle barriers to progression, with patient care at the heart of everything she does. It is one of the reasons why we asked Becky to present her work at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference this year. Well done Becky!
