Featured in today’s ‘Meet the Mentor’ series in collaboration with Skills for Health, is apprenticeship mentor Karen Taylor.
A mentor plays a unique role in an apprentice’s journey and we want you to meet these important role models, and champion all the valuable work they do and the key role apprenticeships play in the NHS.
Karen is a Pre-Graduate Development Lead at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, and as part of her job she is mentoring apprentices who are completing the Leadership and Management apprenticeship.
“One of my biggest successes as a mentor is being able to promote the apprentices into the next band on the pay scale and move them into a more managerial post.”
